About Us
Desi King is a neighbourhood kitchen in the heart of Cooksville, just off Dundas and Hurontario. We cook the food so many of us grew up on: traditional recipes, bold spices and plates that leave you full, at prices that make it easy to come back again and again.
Our Journey
It starts with breakfast: puri with sweet halwa and chana, slow-cooked beef nihari and rich paya, with parathas and omelettes on the side, the way it's done back home. From there, the menu runs deep. Chicken and veal biryani, karahi and korma, seekh kabab and malai boti off the grill, a full vegetarian lineup of chana masala, saag and palak paneer, and fresh naan from the tandoor.
